At Britannia NYC, we maintain appropriate insurance cover to protect our clients, employees, subcontractors and the public against risks associated with our construction work in London.

Employers’ Liability Insurance
Where legally required, we maintain Employers’ Liability Insurance to cover claims arising from injury or illness suffered by employees during their employment. Our insurance documentation is available where required.
Public Liability Insurance
We maintain Public Liability Insurance to cover claims involving injury to third parties or damage to third-party property arising from our business activities. The level of cover is maintained in line with project and contractual requirements. Our approach to site safety is outlined in our safety policy.
Contract Works Insurance
Where required by the relevant contract, Contract Works / Contractors’ All-Risks Insurance provides cover for physical loss or accidental damage to construction works, materials and related works during a project. Warranty arrangements for completed construction work are covered separately under our warranty cover.
Professional Indemnity Insurance

Where our services involve design, technical advice or professional services, Professional Indemnity Insurance may be maintained to cover claims arising from professional errors, omissions or negligent advice, subject to the policy terms.
Tools, Plant and Vehicle Insurance
Where applicable, appropriate insurance is maintained for company tools, plant, hired-in equipment and vehicles used in connection with our construction operations.
Insurance Compliance
We review our insurance requirements in accordance with the nature and scope of each project and the terms of our contracts. Our wider approach to legal and regulatory requirements is set out in our construction legislation policy. Where required, clients and principal contractors can request evidence of relevant insurance cover.
